If I have a full laptop warranty with Best Buy and bring it in for a third time, am I eligible for a new one?

I bought the laptop in February of 2007, and purchased along with the full coverage warranty that covers anything and everything for about $300, and it includes replacements. I heard from a friend that if you have to take in your computer twice, on the third time they give you store credit for a replacement. Last December I had to get the keyboard replaced (under warranty) and about two months ago I had to leave it at the store to do a diagnostic because it was running so slow. I got it back, it's slow again, if I take it in will it be considered a third visit and the replacement policy will be in effect?

I seriously doubt it they will claim that it is a software problem and warranty only covers hardware
